With dark humour, shifting poetry, and a menacing arc of suspense, Austrian writer Paulus Hochgatterer describes a plain, gray nobody called Rudolf. In combining small and big tragedies of our time, he paints a portrait of a man who fell out of time and whose only recourse is to disappear with a bang. This study on loneliness and radicalization is performed by Rudi Widerhofer, who is a passionate moped rider himself and inspired the author to write this monologue.
