In the summer of 2017, members of the Graz acting company travelled to Moldova to join author Nicoleta Esinencu in researching for her play “Rest of Europe”. It was an impressive, adventurous journey to the former Soviet republic, into a divided country which is struggling to find its identity. Nicoleta Esinencu went on to write two plays – one for Graz, one for Chi?in?u. Both of them will be presented at the festival and those involved in the project invite us to have a conversation about their experiences, both here and there.
