“Requiem for Europe” is the Moldovan complementary piece to “Rest of Europe” in Graz: It’s a critical reflection of the way that European and international institutions have intensified their discourse, their policies and especially their interests concerning Moldova over the past 20 years, and what the implications for the Moldovan population. An exploration of how capitalism was unquestioningly accepted as the only alternative in the aftermath of the country’s independence in 1991.
