Dramatic reading
Book presentation
The corona-induced lockdown: theatre closed
and rehearsal activity stopped. The world in artificial deep sleep. Out of this supposed standstill, a dialogue project develops,
which recapitulates and thinks openly: Where does the new drama stand today? And where does it want to go?
Dialogue pairs consisting of playwrights and academics or critics, enter into an exchange. First by video conference, telephone and email, then analogue at the 2021/2022 Dramatiker:innen festival. These debates have flowed into concrete texts, which are now printed in book form.
A book presentation that invites pluralistic reflection and open dialogue on contemporary drama and opens up new spaces for discussion between authors and professional readers.
