Against the backdrop of a present characterized by isolation and destruction, She She Pop open the stage to a collective search for visions for the future and what stands in their way. As an intellectual continuation of their well-known performance Schubladen, She She Pop have also invited various guests for Walls, who join them physically or virtually on stage. Together, they go on time travels between moments of the past and possible futures.

Starting from a mountain of rubble made of documentary material, the stage becomes a time capsule with the help of futuristic camera technology. The women travel to places that have become uninhabitable or empty scenarios in an attempt to speculate about or inhabit other presences and futures. In the process, fantasy or the possibility of fiction appears as a precious commodity.

A production by She She Pop in co-production with HAU Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, Kampnagel Hamburg, Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, FFT Düsseldorf, Schauspiel Leipzig, HELLERAU - European Center for the Arts
